Hackathon 2025 ran for five days at the Pune campus in December. Four parallel tracks, all four customer-facing activities represented. This post is the public-facing summary of what each track produced; deep-dives on the specific products will follow as they ship.
Track 01 — DRM-7000 edge-AI hazard detection. The next-generation tower SLI carries an on-board edge model for real-time hazard pattern recognition. The hackathon advanced the model architecture, generated a labelled training data set from existing DRM 6100 telemetry, and produced a hardware reference design for the inference module. Owned by EPS R&D + the DRM team.
Track 02 — T-Log Cloud. T-Log is the in-house engine telemetry product for mobile crane fleets that we shipped earlier in 2025. The hackathon added a multi-tenant cloud dashboard prototype: aggregated runtime hours, idle/abuse alerts, predictive maintenance signals across customer fleets, with an ingest pipeline accepting data from existing T-Log devices in the field. Owned by EPS R&D + Cloud.
Track 03 — JCB Access operator certification, digital trail. Operator training and certification has historically been paper-driven. The hackathon shipped a digital module that lets training operators sign off and lets certifications follow JCB Access machines through their lifetime in the MH/Goa territory. Owned by ESS dealership + HR.
Track 04 — predictive maintenance for the DCEPL rental fleet. Bringing T-Log-style telemetry into AWP rental ops to predict hydraulic-system faults before they cause site downtime. The output: a sensor harness specification, an ingest endpoint, and a 3-month pilot plan on five spider lifts. Owned by Rental ops + EPS R&D.
What the week told us: the four activities have more shared infrastructure opportunity than they've historically had explicit projects for. Telemetry built for safety electronics maps directly onto rental ops; certification work for JCB Access maps onto rental driver training. The 2024 restructure into DCEPL and DSPL clarified the legal structure; the 2025 hackathon clarified the operational shared services. More tracks like these will run in 2026.
Photos and video from the hackathon will be published to dgoc.in/hackathon-2025 once curated. For partnership enquiries on any of the tracks, email sales@dgoc.in.
